Hi, I'm Buster Balloon (Yes, that's my real name), and I have spent the last 20 years teaching at literally hundreds of in person magic, clown, and balloon twisting events, all over the world.  But even after being a part of so many events, I still felt like there was something missing.

I felt like there were still important conversations to be had, and topics to be discussed, that just don't happen at most conventions.  The things that the pros often discuss among themselves or with a small few, but most often DON’T get discussed in their classes and talks.  THE REAL WORK.
-Emerging trends
-Stage presence
-Developing your on stage persona
-How to actually be FUNNY
-How to be a better storyteller.   Because ALL entertainers are storytellers, whether they know it or not.

And maybe most important, bringing in experts BEYOND our own fields of expertise.  Because one of the most powerful ways to grow in both art and business, is to pull in inspiration from outside your own industry and learn how to apply it to what you do.  Otherwise it is nearly impossible to grow beyond what people who do what you do, have already done.

Don't get me wrong, all of this information is actually available.  But often only in multi day masterclasses, that focus on one or two of these topics.  Or the ideas are scattered across multiple industry events.  I wanted a convention where entertainers could meet and ONLY discuss these ideas.

So I created it.

Look, I FULLY appreciate the joys of learning a new balloon or face painting design or technique.  And my wife can attest to how hard I struggle to NOT leave a convention dealers room with all of the new props, magic tricks, and puppets (man, I love that new puppet smell).
But ultimately, none of those things are what make any of us better or more successful entertainers.

So if you are a magician, a clown, a puppeteer, a storyteller, a musician, a juggler, a princess or a superhero, or any other type of entertainer who loves performing for kid and family audiences, AND you are interested in spending time with others who are interested in the real work as well, we have a place for you.
